After the huge success of the first collection launched by Taufik Hidayat last year -  THL - which sold out in just 5 days during his home Indonesia Open, the Indonesian wonder, together with his sponsor Yonex, is launching his second collection in Hong Kong.


This time around, the idea in mind is to make it a more casual collection. “I wanted to create sports clothing that not only can be worn on court, but also for people to wear it in their daily activities: going to the cinema, hanging out, or just to grab a cup of coffee,” Taufik Hidayat commented.

The event is being held currently in Hong Kong, from November 9th to 15th, and Taufik's hopes are high for good sales.

“Well, of course, Yonex-Sunrise and I are hoping for the best, especially seeing the positive reaction during the Indonesia Open and World Championships in India.  We’re hoping that this second collection could bring a lot more positive outcome than before.”

Taufik left PBSI to become a professional player last March and has since re-entered the top 5 in the world. He was competiting this week in Hong Kong and will be travelling next to Shanghai for the China Open.
