For the first time, all Badzine contributors from all regional websites have gathered and voted for their best player of the year for 2009. Each Badzine reporter was entitled to give 5 votes to 5 different players.

Here are the results: LIN DAN is the winner of the 2010 Badzine Player of the Year Award.

Lin Dan is the winner with 47 votes, closely followed by Jan Jorgensen and Lee Yong Dae.  This trio of stars reflects the year 2009 where Lin Dan once again showed he was the very best, but Jan Jorgensen made a strong impact on the international scene.  Amongst the top 10 of our reporters, we would like you, Badzine readers, to vote for your favourite player of the year.  Keep in mind to show your preference to the player you feel has had the most outstanding year, not just because you like the player/pair.
